Rose Lane Floral Design is a boutique luxury flower shop that was established in 2014 by lead designer, Corinne Schaffer, who prides herself on delivering fresh custom floral arrangements that are crafted with the core principles of design in mind: proportion, scale, harmony, rhythm, balance, unity and emphasis.
In 2015, Corinne began providing services for larger scale events (weddings, showers, fundraising galas & bat Mitzvahs), at which time Rose Lane Floral Design was born.
Rose + Lane are the middle names of her two daughters, Juliet Rose and Alexandra Lane, who continue to amaze and inspire her with their boundless insight, imagination, creativity and curiosity. Both girls (10 & 7) are practicing their design skills and hope to work in the business with their mama some day!
We spend time really getting to know you on a personal level and listening to your wants and needs. By communicating up front about likes and dislikes, and through utilization of color/design boards, we are able to customize plans that fit your creative vision and budget. Whether modern, contemporary, classic, vintage, traditional, whimsical or eclectic, we will work with you to make sure your vision is achieved!
We know how important life's milestone events are, and want to be with you each step of the way. From baby showers to bat mitzvahs, wedding receptions to retirement banquets, we are here to lend our creative design services and help bring your vision to life!
Corinne grew up in Maryland just outside of Washington D.C. and fell in love with flowers as a young girl. She always dreamed of opening a flower shop, and after years of developing and fine-tuning her design skills, she began moonlighting as a florist while maintaining a day job as a coprorate banker. She completed training at the Floral Design Institute and has since opened her own business.
Lena has been working with flowers since she was ten years old. She and Corinne met while planning a Silent Auction for their childrens' school and discovered a shared love for flowers. Today, she works as a freelance designer on projects large and small. Lena also serves as an executive for two non-profits. She has a wonderful family that she thoroughly enjoys spending her time with.
Allyson is a Jack of all trades. She is a full time wife, mom, professional home organizer and is great at general planning, time management and event execution. She and Corinne have been friends for years and she recently began working with Corinne on events and workspace organization. She's a hard worker and a great compliment to the team. She also makes really pretty floral arrangements!
